1. Overview
This website is operated by Akari Jewelry (“Akari”, “we”, “us”). By visiting or purchasing from our store, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please do not use the site.

2. Eligibility & Territory
We currently sell and ship within Canada only. You must be the age of majority in your province/territory to place an order, or have parental consent.

3. Products & Availability
Many items are small-batch or one-of-a-kind. We reserve the right to limit quantities, discontinue products, or cancel orders where an item is unavailable or mispriced.

4. Pricing & Currency
All prices are shown in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and may change without notice. In case of an obvious pricing or content error, we may refuse or cancel the order and issue a full refund.

5. Payments
We accept the methods shown at checkout (including Shopify Payments and PayPal). By submitting payment, you authorize us and our payment processors to charge your selected method for the total amount (including shipping and any applicable taxes).

6. Orders, Verification & Cancellations
We may refuse or cancel an order (e.g., suspected fraud, incorrect information, product unavailability). If we cancel, you’ll be refunded to the original payment method. If you need to cancel or modify an order, contact akarijewelryshop@gmail.com immediately—once fulfilled, changes aren’t guaranteed.

7. Shipping & Delivery
Orders ship from Ontario, Canada, typically within 1–2 business days. Standard shipping is $12 CAD; free shipping applies to orders $80+ (before discounts). Delivery estimates are 2–8 business days and are not guaranteed. Once a parcel is handed to the carrier, delays or loss are the carrier’s responsibility; we’ll help with any claim in good faith.

8. Risk of Loss
Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the carrier at our origin. Please ensure your shipping address is correct; we cannot guarantee rerouting after dispatch.

9. Returns, Exchanges & Final Sale
Our Returns & Refunds Policy forms part of these Terms. In short:

  • Eligible items can be returned within 14 calendar days of delivery in unused, resellable condition.

  • For hygiene reasons, earrings and ear cuffs are final sale, unless defective on arrival.

  • Akari Warranty — 30 calendar days covers manufacturing defects only.

  • Because many items are one-of-a-kind, exact replacements may not be available. If a return/warranty replacement is approved and the same item is unavailable, you may choose a similar item of equal value (subject to availability), store credit, or a refund.

10. Gift Cards & Discounts
Gift cards are non-refundable and not reloadable. Promotional codes are single-use unless stated, may not stack, have no cash value, and can be withdrawn at any time.

11. User Content & Reviews
If you post reviews or content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use and display that content in connection with the store. Don’t post unlawful, misleading, infringing, or offensive material.

12. Intellectual Property
All site content (text, images, logos) is owned by Akari or its licensors and is protected by applicable laws. You may not reproduce, resell, or exploit any portion of the site without our written permission.

13. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the site for any unlawful purpose, to violate any laws, to attempt to breach security, to transmit malware, or to collect others’ personal information without consent.

14. Privacy
Your submission of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy at /policies/privacy-policy.

15. Errors, Inaccuracies & Omissions
Occasionally there may be information on the site that contains typographical errors or omissions. We reserve the right to correct any errors and to change or update information at any time without prior notice.

16. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Akari is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or products. Products are provided “as is” except as expressly stated in our 30-day manufacturing warranty. Some provinces may not allow certain limitations—those limitations may not apply to you.

17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of laws. You agree to the jurisdiction of the courts in Ontario for any dispute.

18. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we post revisions. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
